Jalgaon

 Jalgaon is a significant collection and distribution center of agricultural agricultural goods. Jalgaon is busy market town for the  region's cotton and banana growers, and a key jumpig -off point for travller heading to and from the ajanta caves. the city is served by several major rail lines and a national highway connecting  it to Mumbai & Kolkata. Formerly part of territory controlled by the Holkar family of Maratha rulers. Jalgaon became part of British India in 1818 and Independent India in 1947. 

Jalgaon is bounded by several religious temples and cultural establishments. Padmalaya, Patnadevi, are some of the religious places situated in Jalgaon district. The world famous heritage site Ajanta caves is far near to Jalgaon district. Making it as one of major International Tourism hub for tourist to reach ajanta & Ellora caves. the region is also popular for its competitive edge business policies with tea, Gold, pulses, & mats. The district has major rail  and road connection and is a central destination to reach out major places in India.

Rail: Jalgaon railway station is only 25-km away from Bhusawal. It is a junction on Mumbai and Surat line. Bhusawal is the divisional headquarter of the Central Railway and is junction of Mumbai-Delhi and Mumbai-Hawara line.

Road: The bus station in Jalgaon is a long way from the rail way station. State transport plies buses to Jalgaon from almost all the important cities of the state.

Mahatma Gandhi Garden is a beautiful garden located near New Bus stand, having many different flowers, very big area and game instruments.

Bahinabai Udyan is another park located in the centre of the city. It is named after Bahinabai Chaudhari, a well-known poetess of Maharashtra. There are many types of trees over here and people love to sit under the cool breeze of them in the garden.

Omkareshwar Mandir is one of the most famous and beautiful temples in Jalgaon City, dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated at Jai Nagar. Shivratri, Shravni Somvar, Ramnavmi, Gokulashtami are the biggest festivals celebrated in this temple.
 

 Parola fort was built in 1727 and the size of the fort is 160 to 130-sq-meters. It is believed that the fort belongs to the father of the Great Rani of Jhansi.

Swinging Towers located 16-km from Erandol on the bank of Utawadi River are a real great example of old day's construction technique. Both the towers are 15m long and when one of them is waved the other towers also starts waving automatically. It is believed that the construction is 250 years old.
