Mumbai has the best
selection of restaurants of any Indian city. You could probably
trace the history of the metropolis by trawling through the
amazing variety of food available: Parsi dhansak, Gujarati thalis,
Muslim kebabs, Mangalorean seafood and, of course, Mumbai's famous
speciality bhelpuri -a tasty snack of crisp noodles, puffed rice,
spiced vegetables, crushed puri, chutney and chillies. The city's
delicious seafood is safe to eat-even during the monsoon months. |
