Republic Day

Republic Day is a India's great national festival. The day India became republic (26 January), the republic day is celebrated with a splendid parade a colorful affair with soldiers marching in unison, followed by folk dancers, school children and float from various states.

26 th January 1950 is one of the most important days in Indian history as it was o this day the constitution of India came in to force and India became a truly sovereign state. In tgsi day India became a totally republican unit. so the 26th January was decreed a national holiday and has became recognized & celebrated as Republic Day of India.

The patrotic fervor of the people on this day brings the whole country together even in her essential diversity. Every part of the country is represented in occasion, which makes the Republic Day the most popular of all the national holidays of India.
